Part-Time Sales Associate

Role & Responsibilities:

Our Sales Associate (SA) is the most important person on our team and is responsible for creating a consistent, inviting and premium customer experience. What does that look like? Our SA shares Seldom Seen’s core values of discovery, inclusivity, balance and entrepreneurship with our customers by passionately and authentically educating on product, events and our culture.

• Achieve business results by building and growing relationships with customers through product education combined with personalized styling and product selection
• Create new customer relationships that are authentic and personal and foster existing relationships to drive brand loyalty
• Proactively engage customers with new product arrival information based on personal knowledge of our customer’s closet goals
• Welcome our customers into our space (home) and create a comfortable, personalized and premium experience
• Respond to customer questions and product inquiries effectively & efficiently, acting with urgency to deliver results
• Utilize knowledge of current promotions and store inventory to maximize sales and profitability
• Share product insight with men’s & women’s buyer to inform in-season and future season buys
• Ensure operational standards are achieved including merchandise replenishment, visual merchandising, processing shipments and store cleanliness

 

Qualifications:

• Practices effective communication & relationship building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with other cross functional partners
Ideally requires 2 years in a customer facing role
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday and weekend shifts
• Sense of style and love for our aesthetic
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Drive
